Bluebell – 11 year old female Cavalier King Charles Spaniel cross Bichon Frise

Bluebell is an 11 year old female Cavalier King Charles Spaniel cross Bichon Frise. She is now happily settled in an Oldies Club foster home in Orpington, Kent, and hoping to go to her permanent home soon. Bluebell can be left for two to two and a half hours during the day without any problem, but she wouldn’t be happy with owners who worked full-time with only a midday break.

Bluebell is fine with dogs her size or smaller, though she cleverly hides behind her carer if there are any dog larger around! She likes to be the centre of attention, and can get jealous of any attention given to another dog, so she should be the only dog in the home.

She is no with cats because Bluebell is concerned and she would not be suitable living with any. Bluebell is not comfortable around babies or small children, but she is okay with teenagers. Bluebell cries all the time during car trips. Her favourite things are chasing squirrels, cats and birds.

She also loves running around the garden, sleeping on her carer’s lap, having lots of cuddles and she loves watching the TV and barks at any animals, it’s funny. She is afraid of loud bangs, such as thunder and fireworks. Her ideal home would be where there is usually someone around for company and with an enclosed garden so that she can enjoy chasing all those pesky squirrels and birds out.

Bluebell has had all her vaccinations and a dental. She has a small cyst on the back of her neck which the vet advises to keep checking. If it becomes larger or bleeds, then a visit to the vets is advised. However, it has not changed since being in foster care.
