Bob Pickleford 2-3 year old male Retriever Cross

Welcome to the Walkers Creek Rescue DogsBlog Page. Here we have Bob the 2-3 year old cross-breed. Visually he appears to be a Retriever mix, but opinions will vary. This chap is an active dog who thrives on going for long walks in the fields or the streets.

Bob gets on well with all dogs (except entire males) male and female and is excitable with cats!
Life for Bob started in a Romanian shelter where he’d lived most of his short life. Now this fellow resides in Peterborough Cambridgeshire awaiting his forever home.

Bob would require further basic training as he has the mentality of a 10 month old puppy, mouthing and jumping up for attention.

He responds well with food, so this shouldn’t be a problem. This chap will require someone that is at home most of the time. He can be strong on the lead and persistent to engage in a game of play, but he has a happy heart.

Due to his size and energy, this chap is not suitable for a home with young children. Ideally an adult home only, or with teenagers and above.

When Bob jumps up to greet you, he can knock you to your feet. It’s all a game in Bob’s head! Vaccinated, microchipped, vaccinated against rabies, wormed, flea treated, and looking for his chance to be happy! For more information about this dog please feel free to ask.
