Bogi is a 11 month old, medium size (17 kg, 45 cm) spayed female Cross-Breed who was found in the streets of rural Hungary last February and was taken to a pound where she spent 5 months of her short life. She was saved and released mid July. She’s never had a real home and we’re aiming for nothing less than finding her a loving family that she can spend the rest of her life with.
Bogi is a little shy initially but she is very friendly once she sees you mean no harm to her. She keeps wagging her tail when she is near you and her whole body is moving along, winding constantly. J She really is an absolute sweetheart and she’ll make her family very proud once given the chance. She is friendly and sociable with other dogs, male and female alike. She is playful and likes the company of other dogs. She likes investigating and discovering the world, she has no aggression in her at all.
She walks nicely on a long retractable lead. She has not been house trained so this is something her new family will need to be prepared for. We cannot really say anything bad about her, she has a nice gentle nature who deserves a loving family to spend the rest of her life with after such a rough start! She needs gentle handling as she can get scared of stranger things. Her new family will need to be patient and give her time to get used to her new environment.
Bogi would be best suited for a family without or with children over 10 where she is not left alone for long periods of time so she can spend precious time with them. She is still very young and so her training and socialisation will need to be continued. She needs a calm, peaceful environment and loads of love and attention to gain her confidence. She needs to be treated as a member of the family and be part of their life and activities. She could easily live with a friendly dog, but she would equally be happy living with her humans to care for her only.
Bogi is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family is found for her. Bogi comes fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA approved paperwork. Adoption is subject to Home Check and Adoption fee.
