Boris – 8 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Meet Boris, an 8 year old (approximately) Staffy who is in need of an extra special forever home. He has tragically lost both his eyes in a house fire and so is blind and therefore will require a patient and understanding home. This poor darling has a terrible start to his life as a result of irresponsible pet ownership.

[rehomed]

He would like a home where someone is around a lot of the time to assist him. Despite his trauma, he is a happy chappie and loves to snuggle up wherever he can!

Boris can be placed with other dogs and a savvy cat and we would say older children. He loves his cuddles and attention but is currently desperately in need of reassurance.

Serious enquiries only please as it will not be easy settling him down.

The aim of this non-profit organisation is to find foster homes and permanent homes for dogs in need of a new home. They take on dogs whose owners are no longer able to look after them due to unforeseen circumstances.

Staffie and Stray Rescue are also in the process of developing a campaign to help change people’s negative attitudes towards Staffordshire bull terriers, who are often portrayed as dangerous dogs in the media. With 75% of stray dogs being Staffordshire bull terriers, they hope to encourage more people to rehome the breed.
