Bow is a 7 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross. She is looking for a new home. She has been a well-loved dog but sadly was not getting enough time and attention until SSR were able to step in and find her a loving foster home whilst she searches for her forever home.
Bow is a lively and excitable sweet girl, she will require lots of exercise and lots of cuddles. Bow is very agile, energetic and loves to run. Her foster home is currently letting her off in an enclosed area where she likes to practise running as fast as she can! As long as there are no other animals or people around, Bow has great recall.
Bow knows the basic commands: Sit, Paw, Lie Down, Bed. She will take treats very gently. She is perfectly toilet trained. She prefers to eat in her own when you are out of the room. She enjoys routine and responds well to this. Bow loves ots of cuddles and snuggles, she especially likes to cosy up under blankets. Going out and about on walks, sitting in the sunshine, kisses! Bow doesn’t like the hoover, generally any loud noises, being left alone – She will chew things up if left for too long, other dogs/animals.
A pet free, experienced home would be ideal for Bow. She is used to being around children but because she is quite bouncy we feel she would benefit from a home where children are over the age of 10. Bow would prefer a quiet household who can continue further training with her, especially on lead. Bow is strong on the lead and would need someone who has the strength to cope with this.
Bow is initially very quiet and shy, she just needs a little time and patience.
