Bowie – 11 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross

Bowie is an 11 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross. She arrived at Mayhew due to her owner’s ill health. Beautiful Bowie is an intelligent, chatty and sensitive girl who still has plenty of energy. She loves nothing more than going for long walks, playing a good game of fetch then coming home and cuddling up on the sofa.

Bowie can sometimes be grumpy around other dogs so we’d prefer to find her a home in a rural, semi-rural or low dog populated area so that she can enjoy her walks without coming into constant contact with lots of other dogs. She doesn’t cope well with being left alone so looking for a home where there is someone around during the day.

Due to her vocal nature she wouldn’t be suitable to live in a flat. She can live with sensible teenagers of sixteen years of age and older providing they are used to being around dogs. She has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and is up to date with flea and worm treatment. She has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed.
