Bracken is a 2 year old medium sized female Cross-Breed currently fostered in Norfolk. She was rescued from a terrible public shelter in Romania. She is a tripod and missing a back leg after a road traffic accident. She recovered remarkably well and was raring to go straight after the op! Now she is fully recovered she is looking for a special forever home. Having 3 legs certainly doesn’t hold Bracken back. Shes a young dog and loves to run, jump and play!
Bracken adores the people she knows and is very loving but can be wary of strangers initially. She is currently fostered with a mix of different dogs of age and size who she gets on well with and would do well with a friend of her own. She has been away in the caravan with her fosterers on a few occasions now and has enjoyed it.
Bracken is house trained and walks well on a lead. She has lived with cats in the past and was gentle with them.
Bracken just needs an adopter who will understand her needs and not put pressure on her at first. Once she trusts you, she will love and follow you no matter what.

Here is Bracken’s letter to Santa this Christmas:
I have been a very good girl!!! Well, if you can just forgive my little escapade in the summer I would appreciate it, I certainly paid the price for it. I have only one request to ask of you, Please Santa, can I have a forever home?
I love my human and doggy housemates but they tell me that this home is only where I learn about the scary world, though both mum and dad have told me they love me very much but I do need to find a very special home of my own. I can be a little wary of new people to start with, but give me some space and understanding and I’ll be their faithful follower for all my remaining days. I love kisses and cuddles; I’ll happily warm their bed up each night and reserve them a space on the sofa! I may only have 3 legs now, but I can run like the wind, and play rough and tumble games with my mates.
Mum says I definitely deserve a special 5 star home and you are the best person to ask dear Santa, so PLEASE can I have my own home as my Christmas present.
Yours in hope,
