Brooke is a 7 year old female Hungarian Vizsla. She is fostered in Aldershot Hampshire. Brooke loves her humans, she can be a little nervous initially and her preference is definitely for women but calm patient men will soon win her over. As she is nervous older teenagers only please as they will understand she is nervous and allow her to approach them. Brooke will be best in a cat free home.

We would love another similar sized gentle dog in the home for Brooke, she will take confidence from them and will follow their lead. It may be possible for Brooke to be an only dog if her new owners were around for most of the day and had time to spend with her, Our preference would be with another dog but we will consider homes without a resident dog.
Brooke has recently had a few accidents in the home when she has been asleep, this is not uncommon in older females and especially those who have had several litters. We have started Brooke on medication and it is working well, she has one dose a day and no more accidents. The medication is relatively inexpensive and will last for quite some time. We will be happy to discuss this fully with suitable applicants.
Despite being a larger girl Brooke loves to cuddle up next to you on the sofa and is happiest when she has her human with her, she is a content girl who is clean in the house. She is not destructive but will have a little bed shred if she feels you have left her too long. She enjoys her walks, and is happy to follow along beside you, she is not too strong on the lead but she can still sometimes be nervous of unexpected noises.
Brooke has been homed twice and been returned through no fault of her own, we are at a complete loss as to understand why she has been so very unlucky. She is a great girl who is desperate to find her forever home where her new owners will be committed to her. She needs understanding new owners able to allow her time to relax and settle. She is the sweetest girl who needs her forever sofa and cuddle buddy, could this be you?
Brooke has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and has also had a full dental. She is up to date with flea and worming treatment.
Potential adopters will be expected to travel to Aldershot Hampshire to meet Brooke.
