Bruno is an 11 year old male Cross-Breed. He is our lovely senior and he is still hoping to find his forever family.

He spent the last few years in an overcrowded Romanian shelter. He was rescued after the person who took care of him and over 140 other dogs were arrested.

Bruno is a sweet and low-maintenance boy. He is very friendly towards people and loves greeting visitors. He has not had the chance to be around young children, but he is very well-behaved around all adults.

He will chase cats, so unfortunately, he should not share space with any, but he does enjoy a good play and chase session with other dogs. Bruno is currently living with a foster family and he is doing great at learning all the dos and don’ts of being a family pet.

He is already used to wearing a collar and harness and he walks very well on a lead. He loves walks, especially in the countryside where he can feel more freedom.

He is wonderful with other dogs at home, but given that he has only ever interacted with dogs off-lead, he is a bit unsure how to react when meeting them on walks.

He might be vocal thinking there is a need for his protective instincts to kick in, but with the help of his foster mum, he is slowly learning that they are not a threat. Despite his age, Bruno is a very lively senior.

He is playful, and loves to be outside and go on walks; he is a very clever and quick learner too. Bruno is a sweet, old boy who still has many happy years ahead.

He truly deserves a loving family, for he has been patiently waiting for so long. Currently in foster in the Southampton area.

Paws2Rescue is a UK registered charity, for Romanian rescue dogs. We support many pet owners in Romania and tackle the cause of why there are so many homeless dogs by endorsing several neutering campaigns across the country. Our dogs are assessed in Romania prior to us bringing them to the UK. We have no physical UK kennels as our dogs are in adopters and fosterers homes across the UK. We believe we can make a difference one dog at a time! You will need to be over 25 to adopt, children in the household must be over 8 years old (over 12 for adult dogs). We can only adopt adult dogs to people 67 years and over. We encourage you to visit our website: before applying to read our adoption process and familiarise yourself with our work.
