Bubbles is a 1-2 year old male Cross-Breed. He is a full rescue backup in the U.K. We honestly can’t believe that Bubbles are still waiting for a family.
We are running out of hope for this beautiful boy. Bubbles started his life in really sad circumstances.
Bubbles lay lifeless in a car park as people just passed by without a care in the world. Our wonderful NGO rescuer Andreea went to collect him.
Bubbles were so small and vulnerable, a tiny baby just left out in the cold.
Bubbles were taken immediately to our trusted vet who immediately began life-saving treatment. Tests were conducted and sadly came back positive for parvovirus ( Canine parvovirus is a highly contagious disease that can be fatal to dogs.
Puppies aged six weeks to six months are most at risk. Parvo attacks a dog’s cells in its intestine, meaning they become dehydrated and weak).
It was touch and go but in true fighter, spirit bubbles remained strong and responded to parvovirus management. Fast forward 3 months and bubbles have grown into a beautiful, soft and very loving soul.
Bubbles is a big boy and still growing but he is gentle and kind. Recently Bubbles gave the gift of blood to help another poor puppy in our care, a true hero he is.
Bubbles would benefit from a home with a lovely garden so he can run and play to his heart’s content. He is a large breed experienced home is essential as he is big and growing.
Bubbles will need vitamins and a correct diet to help his continued growth. Training classes for further socialisation would be great. Bubbles are lead trained and love his daily outings away from his kennel space.
Bubbles are kind to everyone he meets including other dogs in the shelter. His favourite thing is playtime, he loves toys and throwing them around on the shelter grounds.
We know that Bubbles would be the most loyal companion. He just needs a chance.
