Buddy is a 6 year old male Jack Russell Terrier Cross. He came into our care from the inspectors with a severe flea infestation and patches of balding skin.

Buddy has been having weekly medicated baths and although not entirely perfect, his fur has mostly grown back and is looking in much better condition.

Buddy has been in a foster home for nearly a month and this is what his foster mum has to say about him.

Buddy is delightfully friendly, affectionate and energetic while maintaining a gentle and sensitive side. He is intelligent and can follow basic commands like sit, stay and down.

Buddy is confident and lively on walks and can sometimes pull strongly on the lead at the beginning but this settles down.

Buddy has been left for a period of a few hours and has been fine.

Buddy could be rehomed with older children but is to be rehomed as an only dog and not with any cats.

Buddy, on the whole, is a good-natured and easy dog and would be suitable for both experienced and first-time dog owners.
