(Rehomed) Buddy – 6 month old male Cavalier King Charles Spaniel cross Bichon Frise

Buddy is a 6 month old male Cavalier King Charles Spaniel cross Bichon Frise. He came into us due to a child’s allergy. This little dog is absolutely delightful. House trained with suppervision and support. Give Buddy a toy, he will play beautifully with it, he is not destructive, but if you give him something valuable he will probably break it. He walks on lead, has a pretty good recall, but does get a distracted at times. He travels very well in the car, is child friendly, adores other dogs, and loves to play rough tough and boisterous games with them.

Buddy is a proper dog, he isn’t a handbag dog at all, and loves to have fun in the great outdoors, he isn’t at all phased bywet and mud, though he does enjoy a cuddle. Buddy is good with cats too, but would really like to play, hence could be a bit much for a timid or elderly cat.

Buddy is very bright, active, generally very biddable and keen to please, though he can be very stubborn. would not be suitable as an old person’s companion, nor in a family with young children, because he needs someone who can concentrate on him, provide plenty of stimulation and guidance while developing his character.

Buddy is active and agile, so could make a fantastic agility dog, perhaps an agility families’ teenagers first dog?

Please note applicants will be home vetted, references may be taken, and will be required to travel to the Sanctuary near Kidwelly, South Wales, to meet Buddy.
