He was obviously not used to street life nor being part of a pack and was attacked by some street dogs resulting in a nasty face wound.

He is now in the care of a lovely local lady who has turned her home into a makeshift shelter since Oman doesn’t have any. He is good around the other dogs and cats in the home but is also not particularly interested in interacting with them.

He has zero aggression and he is very calm and he could live with other animals but calmer ones would suit him best that won’t intimidate him. He has not had much experience around children so calmer or older children would be best, he would not enjoy a loud and busy household.

He is now in good health and ready to go to a kind and patient loving home who will help him feel safe again. He always looks slightly worried, probably due to his previous experience of abandonment.

If you think you can offer Bumble a good home, please get in touch to discuss. Please also note that there would be a 3-4 month wait for Bumble as we would need to prepare him for travel to the UK.

Muscat Dog Adoption

For further details about adopting a dog from Muscat Dog Adoption, please contact the rescue by emailing muscatdogadoption@gmail.com

All dogs rehomed via this rescue will be vaccinated, neutered/spayed and microchipped. Home checks apply and full post adoption support is offered.

Our dogs are rescued from the streets of Oman where they live terrible lives, often suffering abuse, starvation, fatal car accidents and victims of shootings.

They’re primarily wadi dogs, a type of mixed breed sighthound and make wonderful pets. They’re incredibly loyal, loving and intelligent.
