Buster is a 1-2 year old male Cross-Breed. He is seeking a new home due to a change in his owner’s work hours. Buster is an active boy who thoroughly enjoys his walks and gets very excited when he sees his lead! Buster has displayed resource guarding behaviour when he has stolen household items resulting in episodes of aggression. He will require an understanding owner who is able to provide ongoing training with this.

He can be extremely anxious and is unsure of new people so slow introductions are required. Buster is in good health. Buster will benefit from an experienced owner with settled circumstances. He is extremely insecure and panics when he is left alone so will require a home with someone around for most of the day. Buster cannot live with young children and will require a home where any visiting children are aged 16+.

He is sociable with other dogs and may be able to live with a compatible dog in his new home. He has lived with a cat, although they were kept separate. We may consider a home with cats if local to the rescue so that we can carry out slow introductions. Please note that Buster is currently on our rehome from home scheme and is therefore still with his family whilst awaiting a new home.
