Capone is a 1 year old, male Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross Old Time Bulldog, who came to The Mayhew because his previous owners no longer wanted him. He is very friendly with everyone he meets, though sometimes a little too friendly, jumping up and begging for attention and forcing people to say hello whether they want to or not.

He is extremely affectionate and loves to cuddle up to you. He also loves to play and will need a constant supply of chewy toys, which never last long with Capone!
Capone is very responsive to training and will do well at training classes, but has not had any basic training and has not been socialized with other animals. He will need to wear a muzzle and long line when walking in the park until he has got used to being around other dogs. He wags his tail and wants to meet other dogs, but when given the chance he just doesn’t know quite what to do. He can be protective of his owners so he is looking for a sensible all adult family.
His new guardians will be taking on a fourteen-year commitment, which must not be taken lightly.
