Charlie is an 8 year old male English Cocker Spaniel. Charlie is a cheerful chappy who acts younger than his age. He has fitted in very well with our 4 other dogs but has had a little training and needs to learn boundaries which will take love and patience. He has no recall and his fosterers have been working on this however, Charlie is not toy, ball or treat orientated which means that recall is very much a work in progress. Charlie loves being out on the 40ft lead and is very fond of rummaging in the undergrowth and following his nose.
Charlie is very affectionate and loves nothing more than cuddling on the sofa. He has not been tested with cats or any other animals. Charlie is keen to chase birds. He has had a mixed diet whilst in foster. Outside he is not reactive to other dogs and likes to socialise. He likes to be ahead on the lead but doesn’t pull and sits when told to when the handler stops. He travels well in the car but can be excitedly vocal on the outward journey, on the way back he just settles down.
We were told that there was a school at the bottom of the garden in his previous home and that Charlie was stressed by the noise. There are no children in his foster home however, whenever he has met up with children outside he is very friendly. Charlie is house trained.
Charlie is neutered chipped vaccinated wormed and flead and adoption is subject to meet and greet homecheck and adoption fee. Applications via forms section of website please.
