Chase is a 2 year old male English Bulldog. The pictures do not show fully how sad this adorable lad looks and the obvious neglect he has endured. Chase came to us after serving his time as an unclaimed stray. He bounds up to you desperate for affection, his tail wiggles constantly and he calls out to get you to notice him. Chase is another lovely lad who despite clearly having the crappiest time ever, still loves people, he doesn’t hold a grudge or an ounce of mistrust which is quite frankly testament to what a great boy he is.
His eyes were sore and inflamed – we have now operated and his herniated glands have been repaired. We are hopeful that they will remain repaired but should a further surgery be needed we will of course treat. He has been clean in the house bar the usual scent marking which will settle as he has also now been neutered. He took no notice of the cats and could be homed with another dog or potentially as an only dog. Chase has clearly lacked any basic training and he is very strong on lead, he will need new owners who are around for a good part of the day and who understand the needs and behaviors of the breed.
Chase would benefit from attending training classes, he loves people and responds well to positivity so should enjoy training as it is a pleasure for him to interact with people. He has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, is up to date with flea and worming treatment and has also bilateral treatment for “cherry eye”. Chase is currently being fostered in TN10 Tonbridge Kent. Home check and set donation applies.
