Chase is a 3 year old male English Springer Spaniel cross Collie. He is a little power pack. He loves to be running around exploring or chasing balls. Once he has had his exercise he will happily put himself to bed for a rest. He has good recall and always stays close.
Chase is a really fun loving boy who only has one issue and that is guarding. Due to this he needs to have all of his toys outside or away until its playtime. He does not guard whilst outside playing it really is only if he can get them into his bed.
I can collect all the toys around him but not on his bed. If he does manage to guard I am able to place a slip lead onto him and lead him away from object with a few growls from him. He has never attempted to bite here. Chase really needs stimulation and a lot of exercise to keep the guarding issue down.
Chase would love a home where his owners like to spend more time outside than in. Although he loves a butt scratch Chase does not want an owner who wants a cuddle pet. Chase is house trained and has not chewed here.
Chase is very good with the other dogs here but can be nervous of some dogs. Chase would be better as an only dog in the home due to the guarding behaviour. He is current location in Fareham Hampshire.
