Chesney is a 15 month old female Cavalier King Charles Spaniel cross Bichon Frise. Chesney is a really sweet lad who is looking for a new home with at least one other similar sized gentle dog to help him grow in confidence. He is not used to living in a home but has adjusted well. As we have a limited history for him any children in his new home would need to be 10+. He will need owners who are around for a good part of the day as he still needs a gentle reminder with his housetraining as it is all very new to him, owners experienced with nervous dogs would be great.
He arrived in poor condition matted and very smelly, his foster has made him much more comfortable and he smells fresh now too. His coat will need regular grooming and this can be expensive in some areas – please do look into this before applying to ensure it is not cost prohibitive.
He is nervous and he will need kind and patient new owners who will be able to continue to build his confidence, he has made progress since being in foster but still has a way to go yet. Chesney enjoys playing with the other dogs and must be homed with another dog. Please do not apply if you do not have another resident dog.
Chesney has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and is up to date with flea and worming treatment. He also had a small umbilical hernia which has also been repaired. He is currently being fostered in SE20 London.
