Chevy is a lovely lad who loves to pounce like a kitten when playing for attention and love. He’s very playful so will need a lot of mental stimulation as well as physical exercise.
His favourite game is to take cushions from the sofa to throw them around, but he is not destructive. He is very affectionate and takes treats beautifully, he is gentle on the lead and generally very eager to please. Chevy loves to take long naps on the sofa, cuddled up to his fosterer.
He will need a kind patient person who gives him time to trust, as he has the characteristics of a typical Rommie dog. He is okay with other dogs so could live with a calm dog, but would equally be ok being the only dog. He has also been cat tested and showed no reaction to a calm, dog savvy cat.
Chevy can be vocal sometimes (typical to a husky) so this needs to be considered when applying to adopt him.
