Chop is a four month old male German Wire haired Pointer. Chop is full of energy and playfulness- as you would expect a puppy to be!

Chop arrived at the shelter we work with in North Spain with his sister Chip as they were the unwanted pups from a hunter’s litter.

Sadly this is all too common amongst the hunters, they often take the pups they want and look to get rid of the excess.

They are ridiculously gorgeous pups.

We are looking for separate homes for the two pups with experienced adopters or those with some breed knowledge.

Wirehaired pointers are amazing dogs, but they are not ideal for every home, they are often very intelligent dogs, courageous and active, with a tenacious drive and keen hunting instincts.

They are usually very loving, loyal and trainable. So we are looking for adopters with time and commitment to socialise and train the pup.

Chop was born 3rd March 2024. He will be able to travel to the UK when he is 15 weeks old.

If you are interested in giving wonderful Chop a home, she is available at Setter Brittany Pointer Rescue.

Chop is currently in North Spain but he will be ready to travel to his special home in the UK once he is 15 weeks old.

Will that be with you??
