Chutney – 1 year old male Cross-Breed

Hi, my name is Chutney. I am Border Collie size and neutered. I have had a lot of interest as I am such a handsome boy but haven’t yet quite found the right home. I am only a year old and have been told that I’m not too bright, but I make up for this with my good looks and gentle nature.

I am nervous of new things and can be a bit skittish. My people need to be calm and confident and matter of fact about looking after me. For instance if I decide on certain days that my harness and lead is scary, they just need to gently put it on me anyway and take me out as I love my walks really.

If I am pandered to too much it just makes me more nervous and then I get sad. I really, really need a constant dog companion that will play with me but who isn’t too crazy or dominant. I am fine being left for short periods once I have settled as long as I have good walks.

I need a secure garden to play and chill out in. I can be homed with older, understanding, gentle children but noisy or boisterous children would upset me.
