Dreamy little Cloud is a stunning, glossy black girl with a white bib and white toes, she is 2 years of age and 26″ to the shoulder. This little cutie pie is just adorable! She is a sensitive and shy little soul but at the same time very nosey and curiosity tends to win over in the end! Cloud loves all other dogs big or small and playing with toys and is also a smiler so will show you her little pearly whites when she is out and about and feeling happy. Once she feels confident with you she also has a helicopter tail which never stops wagging so don’t miss out on this little girl because she really is a gem. Cloud is clean in the home and will ask to go out. She also sleeps peacefully through the night and can be left for 3 – 4 hours with other gentle canine companions without a problem.
Cloud is just great with dogs of all shapes, ages and sizes and greets them beautifully although will hide behind her foster Mum if they are too much in her face. Cloud will however need a cat free home. Cloud loves her walks and is perfect in the car just curling up and going to sleep. She is currently having two 45 minute walks although would probably be quite happy having longer as she’s still so young. Cloud would also benefit from a chance to stretch her legs off lead a couple of times a week. This would need to be in an enclosed area away from livestock and public roads.
In general greyhounds are calm, mannerly dogs that are well used to being handled. They can fit very well in to a wide range of different lifestyles and usually adjust to the home life very quickly. Their soft, easy going nature often makes them ideal to live in a family environment, while their love of lazing around and low exercise requirements can make them perfect for the retired. Greyhounds also don’t shed as much as other more popular dog breeds and this can make them suitable to live with allergy sufferers. This gorgeous little girlie would prefer a really kind, patient family to help build her confidence and any men in the family must understand that it will take longer for her to feel safe and loved with them and that children must let her have her space and quiet time when she needs it.
Cloud will need at least one other gentle dog to help build her confidence and members of her family around most of the time. Please be aware that we do not home dogs to families with children under 8 years of age. She can be homed anywhere in the UK provided we have a home checker available, but please note that you will be required to travel to Suffolk to meet and collect her. Cloud is currently in a foster home in Suffolk. Cloud is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, deflead and wormed and a home check will be required as part of the adoption procedure.
