Coco is a four-and-a-half-year-old, small-to-medium-sized, female crossbreed, who came to The Mayhew owing to her previous owner’s ill-health. She is well-behaved, toilet-trained, and can be left alone without any problems. She is very good when off of her lead and walks very nicely when on her lead too. She is good with other dogs and good with children too, though we would prefer to home her with children of six years and upwards only.

This friendly, sweet-natured dog has shown no bad habits at all, and is very loyal. She can be a little timid with strangers.

Coco loves playing with her toys – especially soft toys and teddy bears. She also loves cuddles and likes to be close to you, lying by your side on the sofa or at your feet. Her other great loves are chicken and ham, and being groomed. She is nervous of loud noises and fireworks. She will need around one hour of off-lead exercise every day.   Her new guardians will be taking on a eleven-year commitment, which must not be taken lightly.

Coco would suit a knowledgeable first-time owner who is willing to attend training classes with her.

If you’re interested in offering Coco a perfect, loving, fully committed, lifetime home please visit The Mayhew Animal Home any Tuesday to Friday between 1pm – 3.30pm.
