Connie is a 9 week old female Cross-Breed. This lovely puppy is still in Spain and not able to travel until August when she would have had all her vaccinations. She is in a foster home with her brother Vinnie. These puppies were found by the bins in the village just left there like trash as many have been before them. I have spoken to their foster mummy who has said they have very obviously not been ill treated as you will see in the videos – very happy little puppies with lovely happy characters.
We feel little Connie is probably a Podenco mix – they are very lovely and part of the Sighthound family so really need people who understand these types as its important they are kept safe, as often their recalls are not great and you have to be careful where you let them off – they do well with other dogs too.
We think she will be medium size but we do not really know for sure but not large maybe Springer Spaniel size- will need an active home as they are very cheeky and naughty youngsters. She will need a home who understands the importance of training, socialisation and routine.
For some reason, the world has gone crazy with wanting dogs so please read carefully below the type of home we require for Connie.
We require a home that has had rescue dogs before not just grown up with them but actually owned them, someone who understands Sighthounds. No full-time workers and not people who are temporarily working from home because of Covid and come later in the year they could possibly go back to full time or longer hours work away from home.
Connie will be fully vaccinated, chipped and have her own Pet Passport – she is too young to be spayed so you will be expected to do this as part of the adoption agreement.
