Crystal – 12 week old female Rottweiler cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Crystal is a 12 week old female Rottweiler cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier. These lovely puppies were born in Spain their mother was a Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross their father we were told was a Rottweiler. We were not sure of the circumstances exactly but the people who owned the mother said she had rejected them and if someone did not take them, they will drown them.

Lucky for these babies which were only a week old the lovely rescue we work with in Spain took them under their wing. They were nurtured and bottled fed until they were old enough to eat solids. They have been in the home with the other dogs and the whole litter has stayed together – they have grown as you can see from the videos into confident, outgoing babies.

They are big chunky monkeys and obviously looking at them going to be big. They have had an amazing start and the next stage will be their forever homes. Please read the following carefully with what we are looking for. Because of their mix and their potential size, they need to go to responsible experienced homes, it’s a bit of a crazy world at the moment and people see a puppy and want!

These puppies will not be homed to people who have not had dogs before and by that we mean you have actually owned not been brought up with, they will not go to people who have not had guard breeds/large bull breeds before and understand the importance of the next few months in their life.

Dog training, socialisation, love, patience. They need people who are around so no full-time workers, being putting in puppy day-care why you are at work is not an option either. Because of the size of them it has to be with children of secondary school age.

Please do not waste our time and yours – as a rescue we always home check and check vet references to make sure your previous dogs were well looked after.

Preference will always be given to people who have had rescue dogs all their lives.

For further details regarding one of our dogs please email us at starfishdogrescue@hotmail.co.uk for our application form - we are only a small rescue and we get to know our dogs properly before they are put up for adoption, we work with two rescues in Spain for the last 7 years and also travel to Spain to meet the dogs and assess them before we agreed to take them as we are a foster based rescue - we also help the local dogs in Gloucestershire and also link to a local Pound in Bristol that we help, we do take our time and make sure its the right match and put as much detail as we can in their write up what sort of home will suit that particular dog. All our dogs are neutered if old enough, fully vaccinated, chipped and blood tested - they go out with a full vet history, all homes will be home checked without exception and you will be expected to travel to meet the dogs we never deliver dogs.
