Daisy is a female Patterdale cross Whippet (potentially!!) of nearly 9 years. Daisy unfortunately found herself in the Dog Pound, where she had completed her statutory 7 days, so not much is known about her background. Upon a recent assessment, Daisy was found to be happy and relaxed, once she gets to know you but in need of some lead training.
Daisy needs a stable routine and rewards for being good, to show her the way. Daisy is not a difficult dog she just needs to be given a chance by somebody who will be gentle with her and give her time and patience. Daisy will be a loyal little dog in the right responsible home. Daisy is a very sweet natured girl who is eager to please in the home but has obviously been through a lot in life and is very reactive towards new situations, areas and other dogs, she also is not good around cats. Daisy needs a stable adult only home with no children.
When calm Daisy is able to listen and walk well on the lead however she needs time to settle into her new home and will need sessions from a behaviourist to help with her temperament and being able to stay calm. She also suffers from separation anxiety. This is getting better but will need more work for her to feel comfortable on her own. Daisy knows basic commands such as sit, lie, paw, roll-over and leave and loves nothing better than a cuddle on the sofa or playing with her ball. Daisy is very respectful of clothes/slippers and furniture and will only chew her own toys that you give her.
Daisy is a lovely girl who needs a quiet and calm environment in which to thrive and relax.
Daisy is in the Bradford area.
