Daisy had been a very happy pup from the minute she came into rescue and was always great with other dogs and people.

Daisy was in her home for over 2 years during which time there were major changes in her living arrangements.

Daisy returned to us in November after several incidents resulting from her stress around these changes.

There had been a couple of biting incidents where Daisy’s nervousness in certain situations had not been handled correctly.

This means that Daisy needs to be rehomed to an experienced adult-only home where her adopters will continue to work with her to regain her confidence.

When Daisy came back she was surprisingly very reactive to all other dogs, but has now settled in beautifully and is very playful with the other dogs.

Daisy doesn’t take any nonsense from the more exuberant ones and she will tell a dog off if they annoy her, but she is not a fighter.

Daisy is a very obedient dog and if she is told no she listens and stops the behaviour immediately.

Daisy is very affectionate and loves a fuss and a cuddle and tummy tickle. She hasn’t formally met lots of visitors here yet, but when she was dropped off she was wagging her tail at the workmen/delivery drivers on site and showed no aggression towards our manager.

We do strongly believe that her home environment was triggering her behaviours and that she does need a quiet home with adopters willing to continue to work with her, especially with strangers coming into the home. Daisy walks beautifully on a lead, is clean in the house and is crate trained.
