Darling is a 6 year old female Collie Cross. Darling was abandoned by her “family” in her village, possibly due to her being pregnant. A kind local fed her until she was taken in by a shelter, unfortunately the fate of her puppies is unknown.
Darling is incredibly affectionate and loves people! She is happy as long as shes near humans and loves fuss and cuddles but is also happy to be left for a few hours alone with no issues.
Darling has obviously had a very hard life and has had to compete for food so although she is fine with other dogs out and about, in the home she needs to be the only dog. Again with cats she ignores them most of the time but if she feels they are a threat she will have a growl so also needs a cat free home.
Darling was adored by the shelter workers which is clear in the name they chose for her! She loves children but needs training not to jump up when her humans come home and due to her being a strong dog she needs a home where any children are no younger than twelve. She is very well behaved and quiet, she walks well on and off lead. She is also house trained.
Darling is currently fostered in Guildford, Surrey.
