Dexter is a 3 year old male horse-coat Sharpei, who is being re omed through no fault of his own. He has been neutered, micro chipped and vaccinated. Dexter is a very placid dog indoors. He greets his fosterer enthusiastically for a few moments, and then is content to know she is around. Dexter has been left for long periods in the past, which makes him depressed, but not destructive.
Dexter has a lot of energy, and accompanies his fosterer when she goes out running. He also loves travelling in the car. Dexter has recently enjoyed the company of two female dogs, and loves to play with them. However he is not good with male dogs or cats, and for that reason he is muzzled when off lead.
Although Dexter has lived with small children in the past, and loved them, we are seeking an adult home for Dexter, due to his size and strength. He would love a female dog for company, or could happily live as an only dog. He needs company for a good part of the day, and plenty of exercise.
Dexter is currently being fostered in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex.
