When he was picked up due to his tiny size it was thought he was a 4/5 month-old puppy, but his vet check confirmed that he was a young adult and had adult teeth.
Dillon is just very tiny! He is a very typical Whippet in both size and character Dillon weighs just 6kg.
Dillon is a bit of a diva and quite needy, he finds the world a bit overwhelming and needs his confidence building, he loves being outside but will spook easily.
Dillon has not been a pet and needs someone with the time and patience to allow him to blossom in his own time, he has come on very well with us but is still very much a work in progress.
Dillon will steal your bed, and your heart, he is strikingly beautiful and gets compliments wherever he goes which of course, he is happy to lap up!
Dillon is dog and cat friendly, as long as he is comfy that’s all he cares about. Dillon is a real couch potato of a dog, he is very quiet and as much as he will walk for miles.
Dillon takes some convincing to get out of bed or off the sofa, particularly if it’s cold or wet – and who can blame him!! He certainly loves to snuggle with the other dogs.
Dillon would love a family to play with him and keep him occupied, he loves a walk and loves to greet everyone he meets!
Dillon is house-trained and non-destructive – happy to be left snoozing on the sofa by himself and adores other dogs so could happily live with a companion.
Dillon walks well on the lead, and is an absolute pleasure! Dillon was a stray so will scavenge until he forgets his past and realises he doesn’t have to do this anymore, so food and food waste must be kept out of his reach, or he will have it, rubbish bins also need to be out of his reach!
Dillon can live with children aged 10 years plus due to his tiny size. Dillon is a gorgeous happy little lad that so desperately needs a forever home and family to grow up with.
Dillon is neutered, microchipped, de-flea and wormed, Dillon also had a tooth removed that was badly infected and the rest were cleaned.
