This stunning girl with her gorgeous honey-coloured eyes is Dolly, a medium-sized puppy of just 7 months of age. She is in our care since her stray mum gave birth to her and her siblings.
Her father is unknown to us, but she has the features of a red Golden Retriever. Dolly is the only girl of the litter left looking for a forever home. We know she’ll love the cuddles, fun and warmth of a home, she just needs someone to pick her as their new companion.
Dolly and her other siblings are currently in a boarding kennel in Spain where they are taking very well care of them, but what Dolly really needs more than anything is a family. We don’t know how she is with cats and other small furries and we also can’t test her with them, but she is affectionate, playful and great with other dogs.
She is a happy, active girl who loves her time around people. Her mum is of medium size, but her father is unknown to us. From her current size, we estimate that she will be about 15 to 17kg, but it also shouldn’t become a problem for you if she grows more than expected.
Her future family will need to be patient and understanding as Dolly hasn’t been shown what life in a home looks like, how to walk on a lead and go exploring, or how to cope with new situations.
She will need guidance and training around new people, and other dogs, on walks and at home, as she will be experiencing all of this for the very first time and may be a little bit shy/nervous at first, but with gentle affection and positive training, we have no doubt this beautiful girl will flourish.
For Dolly, we are looking for an active family or person, who is committed to the decision of adopting a puppy and with everything that this implies. That is why we only consider a dog experienced home (NOT first dog owners) who knows how to manage the education, training and socialization of a puppy and also has the time and patience for this.
We are looking for an adult-only home or a home without young children (14+), as we want dogs who require more time like herself to be the priority. We would like her to have the company of an active resident dog at home, so she can play and learn from a confident friend.
Dolly is currently in Northern Spain, but cannot wait to travel and discover her new home in Wales or England (NOT Scotland) as soon as the right family or person comes forward. Dolly is a gorgeous puppy who deserves to know what it means to have her own family where she will be a further family member, loved and appreciated.
If you’d like to offer her this opportunity and feel you can commit to the next 10-15 years of her care, please get in touch. We would ask that you send some information about your home life, routine, experience with dogs and why you feel Dolly is right for you, and we in return will happily explain our adoption process.
