Dömi, along with his two siblings came to this world as an unwanted litter and the owners wanted to get rid of them. Luckily they were reported to the local shelter so they were collected before it was too late. Dömi is 6 months old, about the size of a Fox Terrier and he’s not expected to grow bigger. Their mum is a Hungarian pumi but Dömi’s hair is quite wirey so there may be some Terrier thrown in too. He’s got a stunning look, beautiful black hair and he is a cheeky little monkey!
He is a very active boy who loves to play. He is bold and funny who’s not scared of anything and loves to discover! He is like a Duracell bunny when it comes to play, wrestling and fooling around with his brother who he lives together with. He is also a cuddle champion and loves sitting on your lap. He is clinging on his humans and likes being around you all the time. He is quite alert and can get vocal at times. Also he’s not particularly fond of being left alone currently so he will need gradual introduction. He travels nicely in the car and walks well on the lead as long as there’s no distractions around such as another dog. He currently lives with cats, an older small dog and a younger large dog plus two children, aged 3 and 5 so he’s thoroughly socialized and compatible with dogs, cats and children.
Dömi would be best suited for a family that is ready to continue his training, including house training, and who’s not going to leave him alone for long periods. He would be happiest with an active family as he is full of energy! He could easily live with a doggie mate or cats in the household, but he could be happy living with a family to care for him only as long as his excercise needs are met. The new owner will need to agree to have him neutered. Dömi is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family’s found for him.
Dömi comes fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA approved paperwork.
Adoption is subject to Home Check and Adoption Fee.
