Dora is a 8 year old female Hound Cross. She was rescued from the Macedonian streets, in a terrible condition, together with her only surviving pup. She was missing patches of fur, her eyes were infected, and was sleeping in an old car, hiding from the cold.
We took Dora to the vet, tested her for Mediterranean diseases, and did regular blood work. Unfortunately, she was positive for leishmaniasis, which had to be treated. The treatment was relatively long but successful. Dora’s condition has improved, despite her age, her fur has regrown and her eyes have cleared.
She has been living in a kennel for over a year now and is finally looking for a home. She is a lovely old lady who is looking to spend the rest of her life, being loved and cared for. She is super friendly with other dogs, children, and people. She could be homed with cats if trained.
Dora is vaccinated, microchipped, and will have RBU. At least 5-foot-high secure garden/area fencing is required. She can be homed anywhere in the UK. Please contact us for more pictures/videos and to find out more about our adoption process.
