Dotty is a 4 month old female German Shepherd Cross. This lovely girl was rescued along with her brother Toddy in Spain. They were found abandoned in cardboard box and taken into the local Charity shop. They both have been taken into foster together and there they have been until they are old enough to travel. Speaking to the foster parents, they have both done very well in foster, they are living with 3 other dogs and love playing with them.
Dotty is a very friendly girl and the livelier of the two of them, she is very friendly and loves her cuddles. She is doing well with her house training although still has the occasion accidents and sleeps in a crate at night. Both are getting used to being walked on a harness.
Dotty will be probably Labrador size when fully grown we can only guess at this stage as we have no idea of parents etc. She looks like she is Shepherd mix and needs an experienced home who have owned similar breeds and trained them. She has had a lovely start to her life but it’s very quiet where she lives so will need socialising with road, cars, different people etc.
We want her to be homed with people who have the time for a young large breed pup who is going to be very bright and a pain if not brought up properly – so you need experience – no children under 10 as she needs your time, preference will be given to families with another dog (preferably rescue). People who fully understand how important these early months are in a dog’s life.
She is too young to be spayed so you will be expected to do this as part of the adoption agreement, she will be fully vaccinated, chipped, passport and blood tested.
If you feel you could be the right home for her please email us for our questionnaire in the first instance so we can learn all about you and if you are a good match.
