Dublin – 1 year old male Cross-Breed

Dublin is a 1 year old, smaller medium size male cross breed (weight: 12 kg; shoulder height: 42 cm.) He was found shivering under the shrubs in a car park of a supermarket on a cold February day.

He was taken to the city pound but soon he was taken into foster care and he now lives with 4 dogs and a cat.

Dublin is a super little boy, he is doing very well in his foster family and adapted nicely to the family dynamics. He gets on well brilliantly with the resident dogs, big and small, and he lives in peace with them.

He likes playing with all kinds of toys and he absolutely loves playing tug of war with his best mate, a male bully cross.

He is very well behaved around people, will be a bit reserved with strangers on the first introductions due to his past as a street dog but he will make friends easily given some space and time. He has never shown aggression towards any people or a dog.

He also tries hard to make friends with the family cat who he regularly offers to share his toys with, although with little success.

Dublin is toilet trained, walks nicely on the lead and travels well in the car.

He is a kind natured, loving, adaptable doggie who’s fitted in nicely with his current foster family and he would be a perfect family pet in a loving home. He is a quick learner and cooperates nicely with humans, he really deserves to arrive Home after such a rough start to life.

Dublin would be best suited for an active family as he loves his walks, loves to play and would happily participate in all kinds of family activities if given the chance.

He would probably be happiest living with another dog or dogs as he loves company and does not like to be left alone for long periods of time.

He can also be safely rehomed with cats.

Children over 10 will be considered.

As all rescue dogs, he will need time, patience, love and commitment from his adopting family to become a happy, well balanced dog.

Experience with rescue dogs preferred. No first time owners please.

Dublin is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family is found for him.

He comes neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA approved paperwork.

Adoption is subject to Home Check and Adoption fee.
