Duke is a 5 year male Bull Mastiff. Duke has just arrived under us at LBDR. He is in foster, came in with eye and ear infection which is being treated, he will be castrated very soon. Foster home has already fallen for his charms. We are told he has not mixed well with children we have seen no evidence of this but as told we will not home with children. Update from Duke’s foster mum, Duke deserves to find his perfect home please share his album to help find this home for him. Duke continues to do well despite a few set backs with his eyes. He would absolutely love a new home for Christmas. Duke would be best either an only dog or with a really laid back lady. He is the most loving and kind boy who loves to be loved. He’s fabulous on the lead and none reactive when he meets other dogs. He is said not to like children.

Duke got a little fright with another dog and this made him wary of yellow dogs. But it’s something that can be worked on. Duke is going to make somebody a wonderful companion he’s worked through some fears and is a loving gentle boy who quite simply needs a place to call his own.
