Dusty is a 2-3 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross. He is a very friendly, people oriented dog with boundless energy and a tendency to be very strong and boisterous. He has been rehomed once, but his new owner found that he was a bit ‘too much’ dog for them and sadly Dusty has been returned to us. He has received some basic training in his previous homes, but has a tendency to have ‘selective hearing’ when he is out and about so his new owners will need to continue this training and build on the good basics that he has acquired to date. He can be strong on the lead, but is used to being walked on a harness.
Dusty needs to be placed with active and experienced adult owners in his next home where he can receive all the stimulation and exercise he needs with someone who is committed to continuing his training to help him become the best dog he can be.
Whilst he has been in our care he has appeared to be relatively good with other dogs and so he may be able to live with another, calm, established dog given careful introductions.
