Eddy is a 6 month old small to medium sized Cross-Breed puppy (shoulder height: 35 cm, weight: 12 kg). He was rescued from a kill shelter where he was dropped off with her mum. Her mum was adopted quite quick and poor Eddy was left alone, abandoned at a scary city pound. He has a body shape similar to a Corgi – sturdy, with relatively short but powerful legs and a lovely face.
We’ve never seen dogs being so happy to arrive in their new temporary home, which is a kennel with Kristof, which is telling us a lot about how frightening life must be for these dogs at a kill shelter. Eddy is a happy boy who loves to play and mingle with his doggie mates. He is very friendly with dogs, quite playful and enjoy running around with them. He also plays with all kinds of toys like a healthy puppy.
Eddy is a sweet, cuddly boy who loves people and generally kind and friendly with everyone. He has a lovely temperament, loving and sociable who’s a joy to be around. He currently stays in our mini shelter that he is sharing with a few other doggies. He tends to wolf down his food so we think he must have experienced hunger before. He is not taken on regular walks and it is down to his new family to train him how to walk nicely on and off the lead. He lives in an outside kennel so we are unsure about his house training needs, therefore his new family will need to be prepared to train him if necessary.
Eddy would be best suited with a family without or with children over 10 where he is not left alone for long periods of time and there is time for his training. His future family will need to continue his socialisation, taking him to nice walks and including him in the family’s activities, taking him on holidays. He is a lovely dog who could make a wonderful family pet. He would probably be happiest living with another dog or dogs as he is quite sociable, but he could potentially be happy living with his humans to care for him only.
Eddy is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family is found for him. He comes fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA approved paperwork.
Adoption is subject to Home Check and Adoption fee.
