Elia – 2-3 year old female Cross-Breed

Elia is a 2-3 year old female Cross breed of large size. We still don’t understand how this princess ended up in a pound of Northern Spain. When we met her for the first time we immediately felt in love with her honey brown eyes and her deep gaze. She does not understand what she has done wrong to end up abandoned in a pound.

Elia is lovely and affectionate. She is great with other dogs, small and large ones and behaves very well. She is a sweet girl, social and kind, with the energy level adequate for her size and age. She isn’t cat tested and neither has been tested with children.

We hope to find a family for her that will make her forget her days in hell and show her the beautiful sides of life. We don’t have any information of her past, as she was found wandering on the streets. Therefore we also don’t know if she already had some training, in which environment she used to live or if she has every been in a home environment.

The people who are interested in offering this girl a forever home not only have to be willing to train her, but also be patient and give her the time she needs to settle in.

A further dog at home would surely be great for her, but if she on her walks is able to interact with other dogs and have some fun with them, running and playing, she can also be the only dog. She isn’t and can’t be tested with cats, children or other animals.

We are a voluntary organization which rescues primarily dogs from a public pound in Galicia, in Northern Spain, where the dogs instead of living, are trying to survive. 99% of the dogs are strays or have been abandoned by their owners on the street. The dogs are a variety of breeds and come in all shapes and sizes! We are funded entirely by donations and work hard in our free time to help rescue and rehome as many dogs as possible. With your help we can continue our work and provide food, bedding, medical supplies and care for the dogs until they are well enough to find their forever homes. All dogs rehomed via TeLuMa’s Dream are microchipped, fully vaccinated, wormed, deflead and spayed/neutered if old enough, if not the adoption contract will stipulate that this is done as soon as old enough and this will be checked with your vet. We re-home dogs anywhere in the U.K. This means that you can apply if you have a U.K postal code. Our aim is to pair each dog with the right new owner, ensuring that it will be safe, cared for and loved for the rest of its life. Therefore all potential adopters will be asked to complete a questionnaire. Also a homecheck is carried out and a phone interview prior to adoption. We offer a full rescue back up service to all our adopters and post-adoption support, which includes a Facebook support group and free behavioral advice.
