Elsa is a 3-4 year old female Labrador cross Lurcher. She has had a very difficult life so far, her owner abandoned her in kennels and never returned to get her, then she got lucky after 8 long weeks in kennels a very kind kennel worker in October 2018 took her home and loved her giving her everything she needed however tragedy struck just before Christmas 2019 when he suddenly passed away and poor Elsa was devastated. She is described as loving loyal and affectionate dog who deserves another chance.
This is what her foster says: ‘She sleeps in the kitchen without a sound, she is 100% clean, lays on her bed and is not possessive about food. She has been 100% with my children aged 11 and 15 who are very confident around dogs. Out of the home Elsa however is very excitable and hyper-vigilant, and distrustful of strangers. Elsa is dog reactive also but Elsa loves to run and regularly accompanies me on 3-5 mile runs on Salisbury Plain’.
We are looking for an experienced home without other dogs and secure garden close to an open area where Elsa can be walked. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
