Elsie is a 2 year old female Boston Terrier. She is looking for an adult only home as an only pet. She loves people she knows, but finds meeting new people quite stressful, she does not show this in an easy visible way, but there are subtle signs in her body language that show us she finds it hard. She exhibits lots of appeasement behaviours and avoidance.
Her guardians will need to be mindful of this to help Elsie find safety and comfort in her experiences so as not to exacerbate her anxiety. The training that she understands will address this, so any adoptive family will need to show a willingness to continue the training and show a desire to support Elsie step through her life feeling safe and understood.
