Enkosi is a 4 year old male Cross-Breed. He is currently in West Sussex. He is a very gentle boy and would suit a quieter home. He loves full-body rubs and pats and will nudge for more attention. He can be very skittish toward loud noises or sudden movements.
He also will bark at visitors into the home and is scared of people approaching him on walks however he can be won over with slow movements and lots of treats. He isn’t very interested in toys however loves to snuffle out treats around the garden.
Enkosi can live with older dog-savvy children with separation and slow introductions. Enkosi can live with another dog with the ability to separate and introduce slowly.
Enkosi cannot live with a cat. Enkosi accepts a collar, harness, and lead and loves his walks. Fostering a rescue dog is not something to take on lightly, they need full commitment and a lot of work and patience to allow them to blossom.
There may be many challenges to overcome so please ensure full dedication before applying. Enkosi is toilet trained. He doesn’t use a crate and doesn’t like being shut away with doors etc.
Enkosi can be left for up to 4 hours. We always advise sensible and slow introductions to family members and other pets.
