Eros – 8 year old male Cross-Breed

Eros is an 8 year old male Cross-Breed. He originally came into our care in January 2016 after his family could no longer care for him.. Eros was adopted by one of our supporters in 2020 but despite initially being good with the resident dog issues soon began to surface and subsequently, Eros was returned into our care.

Eros is quite an anxious, insecure dog who becomes easily worried by change. Due to this Eros takes time to form new bonds therefore he will require several visits at the rescue followed by a slow introduction into the home so please do bear your location in mind should you wish to apply to adopt him.

We are looking for an experienced, adult-only home for Eros free from visiting children and without any children planner for the future. It is vital that Eros is provided with a calm, quiet household in which to settle. In the home, he has proven to be clean and non-destructive and will make a wonderful companion.

Eros would benefit from a patient and understanding owner who will be prepared to put in the work needed to help him overcome his anxieties. With the staff at the rescue, whom he knows and trusts Eros is such a fantastic dog, he is very sweet-natured, playful, and affectionate. He has so much potential and we are keen to see him flourish in the right home.
