Eva is a 2-3 year-old female Sarplaninac (Yugoslavian Shepherd Dog), originally from Macedonia. She came to Wolfie’s Legacy after being hit by a car, and suffering a nasty fracture.
We had a femoral head ostectomy carried out on her, and she now uses the leg 95% of the time, although she occasionally lifts it because of her pain memory.
Eva was up for adoption before and was housed with an elderly dog, who has now suffered a stroke. He seems nervous of her being around, and after all, he was there first.
Last time Eva was up for adoption we had a mountain of responses, she is very beautiful. Before making a knee jerk reaction to her beauty, please research this breed.
Eva is approximately 40kg, gentle although stubborn. Gets on well with dogs (no cats).
Good with children but because of her size, older children please. She is spayed, immunised, microchipped and flea/wormed with a European passport.
Eva is currently doing a couple of miles a day walk, but will need a fair-sized garden. She isn’t overly energetic but very intelligent.
