Flower is a 2 year old female Shih Tzu. This little lady is very nervous, she arrived in a poor state along with her companion. They are scared of people and will take time to adjust and learn to trust again. As she is so nervous a home with older teenagers or occasional visiting grandchildren would be needed.
Despite being nervous flower will try to chase the cat, she does stop if told but any cats would need to be very bold and used to dogs, otherwise feline free would be best. Flower must be homed with another similar sized gentle resident dog who will help her gain in confidence and adjust to home life. There are no known health issues with Flower.
We do not know what or how Flower has lived but she is very fearful, she is not clean in the house and appears to know nothing of life in a home as a loved pet. Her fosters are working on this with her but she will take time and lots of patience to adjust fully.
Flower does not yet know how to walk on a lead and is too nervous to currently go for walks, again this will continue to be a work in progress when she goes to her new home. She will gain in confidence with kindness and patience. She will need owners used to very nervous dogs or ex breeding dogs.
Although Flower has not been used for breeding her behaviours are very similar and she will need experiences owners to bring her on and help her to continue to adjust. Her new family will need to be around for most of the day to help her adjust. Fostered in SE28 London.
Flower has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and she is up to date with flea and worming treatment.
Potential adopters will be expected to travel to London SE28 to meet Flower.
