Fluke – 7 year old male Husky

Hi, I’m Fluke, a 7 year old male Husky. I’m looking for new owners who have previous experience owning Huskies, who will understand my quirks and the requirements of my breed. Although I am very beautiful, I am also a complex boy who needs lots of time and patience. I am not suitable to live with children.

My new owners will need to do lots of visits at the centre to establish a strong relationship with me as I am uncomfortable being handled unless I have a good bond with someone first.

My favourite thing in life is walkies, and I’ll go for miles, so new owners with an active lifestyle is a must! Unfortunately I’m not overly fond of other dogs, I have been working on my social skills but it’s important I’m muzzled when out and about and walks in quieter areas would be best. I’ll also need a new home with a large secure garden where I can run and play as I will need to be kept on a lead or longline at all times when out on walks.

All of NAWT dogs can only be rehomed in Cornwall.
