Flynn is a 2 year old male German Short-Haired Pointer. In April of 2019 we were approached by a rescue to ask if we could help a young German Short-Haired Pointer in northern Cyprus who was in danger of being PTS as he had a damaged leg that needed amputating and was diagnosed with leishmania.
Well, what could I say other than yes, so after spending 6 months having surgery to remove his leg, treatment for his leish and preparation to travel he finally arrived at Dog Central. He is one of the happiest dogs I have ever met. He just loves attention and best of all he just loves other dogs too and just wants to play and be hugged.
I know he’s not going to be an easy dog to rehome because of the fact that he has leish (please don’t be put off as it is controlled with regular medication), but hopefully because he is a specific breed and has such an amazing personality this will stack the odds in his favour.
If you think you have a Flynn shaped hole in your heart and on your sofa please pop onto our website and complete a pre adoption questionnaire (the second form down in the contact us section) and someone from the rescue will be straight back in touch. Homecheck and adoption donation applies.
