Fort is a 9 years old Labrador Cross. He has been at Gables Farm since 2002. The ideal home for Fort is a man living on his own who has just lost his dog and would be willing to give Fort a chance in his twilight years.

He would need to start off in the right way by not letting Fort on the furniture and making him sleep downstairs at night. He was returned to Gables for being protective, we already knew that he could be dominant and stubborn. If visitors came to the house Fort would have to be put in another room as he would most likely become protective of his owner. Fort is quite happy to wear a muzzle when out. He is very clean in his pen and loves to travel in a car. The staff would love to see Fort get a home as he is always well behaved with them and he deserves a chance with that RIGHT owner.
