Foxy – 4 year old male Greyhound

The beautiful little Foxy is now ready to find his forever home. This tiny male Greyhound boy is just 4 years old and so sweet. We feel Foxy could easily live with other dogs or with someone around to settle him in in the beginning would be equally happy as an only dog. Foxy is a very sweet lad and walks beautifully out on lead. He has been fine with all other dogs he has met here at the kennels but as he has only just retired from racing caution and gentle socialisation does need to be taken with smaller breeds. Foxy is NOT cat friendly. Foxy travels like a dream and is suitable to live with dog savy children 6 years and upwards. Although Foxy is with us here in kennels he does keep his kennel clean and toilets at every opportunity he is given so we do not envisage that house training will be to much of an issue.

Greyhound Gap

Greyhound Gap is a small independent charity set up to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome greyhounds and lurchers who find themselves in a ‘put to sleep’ situation in UK pounds. Funded almost entirely by donations, we rehome around 150 dogs each year. We can have around 40-50 dogs at any one time in our kennels based in Kidsgrove, Stoke on Trent and a further 30-40 in foster homes. Greyhound Gap operates on a national basis so our dogs can be homed throughout the UK subject to a suitable home visit being carried out.

If you are interested in adopting a dog from Greyhound Gap, we would ask that in the first instance you could take a few moments to complete our pre-adoption questionnaire if you have not already done so: http://www.greyhoundgap.org.uk/our-dogs/pre-adoption-questionnaire
